A glorious July day....

...found us joining BIPP SW region at the magnificent surroundings of Taunton School for some bright and informative banter from David McGirr.

Quite how one manages to sell plain white umbrellas on one of the brightest days of the year, I dont quite know... but somehow I did!

Somehow yours truly managed to find himself back at the lectern where he read a lesson at a school carol service some...errrr.... a lot, shall we say?.... of years ago.

For those who travel heavy for weddings, forget it... David works light, works quick... and above all, plans and researches diligently to maximise the use of the best surrounding features - even if it is a bride from Frome getting married at Trowbridge registry office with a reception at Westbury rugby club... Say no more.

Anyone wanting to learn more about wedding photography could do a lot worse than listen to David.

If you want to learn more about the job, these seminars offer not only good chances to gather knowledge, but also ideal opportunities to network and discuss areas of mutual concern - most certainly not a wasted day. And last but by no means least... a good venue usually means good grub!
